TI Jazz flats, how to eq these?

I have a set of TI jazz flats on a Hofner and whilst I like the low tension I am still trying to find how to eq these strings, was after finding out how others who use these strings eq them, thanks

Although I've never used TI flats I have used LaBella, GHS, Rotos, Fender and EB. The only EQing I even did was to turn the bass down a touch.
It all depends on your bass/amp/touch/genre/pedals/favored tone, just remove the stuff you don't want.

On Passive Pbass with Wide open tone, i tweak my Hartke KB15 combo EQ Bass 12~1 o'clock, MID 10 o'clock , Treble 10 o'clock which i wanna create my previous lovely Rumble V3 200/150 combo Vibe .

Otherwise on Active Cort Arona IV , Ti flat sound very bassy and strong LO-MID voice. tweak the EQ Bass 10 o'clock , MID 11 o'clock and treble 2 o'clock to make overall tone close to passive Jazz bass .

Generally speaking, I run things as flat as possible. I find that TIs give a high mid/middle mid bump that’s pretty significant. It’s why I think they’re so audible in a mix.

They also make that contour, or ”mid-scoop/bass and treble bump” knob on your amp actually useable in certain situations; when the mids are too much.

Flat EQ here as well, on my passive P bass, through (most often) an Ampeg B-100R combo.

Flat eq all bassses. 2 with TI’s on them.

TI Jazz Flats on several of my basses, going on many years now. EQ generally = bass slight cut, mid flat, treble flat.

One thing I love about the TI Flats is that, due to the strong mid presence, I can roll my tone knob back to kill highs but retain a really nice midrange.

With this in mind, I just EQ my amp flat-ish, no adjustment needed for the TIs. I might give the amp a nudge in the lows depending on the volume I’m playing at, but even when moving just a little bit of air the TIs sound pretty rich & thick.

Have after a couple of days found that these sound best with the bass slider on my Hofner in the on position, this seems to tame the harsher high mids slightly

thanks for the replies, have not used these out yet but am observing that to me these strings seem to have average low mids and strong high mids , does this seem in line with peoples experiences?
