I finally installed those bridge saddles I ordered for my USA SUB5. I finally was able to properly intonate this bass and give it an action where I did not have baby it. Next up is that Classic Vibe Fretless Jazz of mine that needs a fretboard planing. Coronavirus is not funny, but I laugh that it took fear of death to break me out of checking out basses at music stores and making a better effort at upgrading the basses I own.

my project is refinishing my rolling kitchen island. Sand and stain the butcher-block top, replace the wheels, sand and repaint the base, build a center shelf...

I installed the saddles and intonated while “Aliens” was playing on the television. It took me about 75 minutes.

The original saddles were partially stripped and two or three of the saddles could not be raised on both sides.
