Time for another "What are you saving up for?' Thread

I'm getting closer to amassing the dough needed to put 50% down on a Zon Legacy Elite 5-string... it would look similar to this one... just with a B :smug:

Who knows... I might be able to pull the trigger in a week or two.

I was saving up for a Digitech Jamman, bought an Ashbory in the meantime until I could find a good deal on a used jamman, and just sold the Ashbory in order to fund the Jamman. A bit of a roundabout way to do it, but I got to try out a pretty darn cool bass in the meantime.

I have an extensive GAS list, but I'm not sure what I'll be buying next. I've surprised myself in the past. :D

plan to eventually get a fretted Lakland USA JO (I have a fretless one)
Also gasing for a Lakland Skyline 5 (5501?) since I played one in Boston (the gtg and pickup tester courtesy of Dan Lakin and Dale Cruse).
Would love to add another fretless to the stable as well, thinking of having something done with a nitro finish...

I'm GASing bigtime for a USA Lakland Duck Dunn in Sonic Blue. I think I must be insane, because I just got a new Metro RV 4 a few weeks ago (and in addition to that, I already have three other basses that are killin'). I think I may be coming down with TomBowlusitis (tm) :D . Of course, if Sadowsky introduces a Metro P, that would complicate things a bit! Fortunately, my wife understands me...

:hiding:

:D
