Time for new amp

Hey all. I'm looking to get a new amp but I know next to nothing about them. I currently have a Behringer POS 1xCrap (AKA BT108) and it makes my bass sad I should have listened to my old roomie; he told me I should get a good one lol. ANYway, what are some good setups for under $200? Would it be best to get a combo or a cab and head? I don't need anything that's going to blow the roof off, just something that sounds decent and perhaps can be heard behind a guitar with a low power amp. I won't be gigging, this is purely for the entertainment of me I'm thinking under 100W, possibly as low as 45W, just so long as it sounds good. That's all I'm worried about. No bells and whistles, just a nice, clear, deep sound. Thanks!

Scan ebay (or TB) for a used Ampeg BA112. It's a 1x12 50 watter that sounds great, is quite loud, and has alot of tonal variety with the 5-way mid switch. I scored one a while back, in new condition for $165.00. I've found it to be worth every penny.
It has stereo line level inputs (cd/mp3 player/computer) which is cool for practice, also has a 1/4" line out, which you can line into a bigger rig or PA.
If you can find one for the price I did, I don't believe you could do any better.

No one else has any suggestions? I searched and couldn't find any useful info regarding this low of a budget and my particular needs

Peavey Microbass
They are very cheap and reliable. No bells or whistles but sounds clear and deep.
I use one when I play for the churches youth group.
