Hey Justin
I have a bunch of questions regarding managing one's schedule. Right now I'm trying to get involved with as many projects as possible, but how do you find a balance between playing with a diverse range of bands, while still being able to fully commit to each one? Especially when many of these projects are working bands...I forsee many double/triple-booked Saturday nights. How many reasonably busy bands do you feel like it makes sense to be a member of at any given time?
Also how do you deal with the nuances of leaving a band that may not be as important to you, while trying not to burn bridges?
And finally, how can one maintain a busy performing life, while still finding time to grow individually as a musician?
Many Thanks, looking forward to hearing your thoughts
(also any of the regulars feel free to jump in, i'd love to hear what you have to say too!)
