Sorry you're going through stuff. I understand also how Talkbass can add. I don't blame TB though. Lots of wonderful people here. A lot of us however are addicted to the internet, just don't want to call it what it is. If we're getting involved in BS here it certainly doesn't help any in our personal life. There are a lot of times I want to say hasta la vista. Nothing to do with the people here, but more so because I sometimes struggle with disconnecting my brain. I find myself walking the streets sometimes checking TB posts. I used to look at the trees, cars, the stars, etc.

I get, too, the announcement post. Kinda makes it easier to make a clean break... and gives you something to stick to. If you come back, you know yer gonna get your arse kicked here :). If ya do though, I'll welcome you back. I enjoy your posts, even when I disagree.

I wish you the best in working your issues out, whatever they. Till next time...

That expression is not to be used lightly. If you say it chilled your bones, I can't imagine the stuff OP is going through. Again, best wishes Thomas.

I signed up in '08, forgot I had an account, then rediscovered my account seven years later. Of my 1,800 posts, maybe 1,780 are from the last ten months. :D

Glad I didn't delete it. Didn't imagine I'd ever get sucked back in!

Thomas, I wish you the best. I deleted all but one of my accounts awhile back. For some odd reason I kept this one, although I didn't post for awhile. I don't think I even was on here for months. But somehow I was glad, later, that I didn't set fire to the evidence. :-)

Nah. No poof. My grand account deletion moment was back in 2014 and I disappeared from everywhere for months, not that 'everywhere' amounts to much. Recently I've just been busy and slightly overwhelmed. Work is... work, and some days I come home and need to stare at walls and drool on my shirt for a bit.
