Time to switch to Dunlop Super Brights!!!

I've installed several sets (5-string) so far, even re-installed some a couple times, and haven't had an issue with them yet,
tho the S/S set on a maple/maple active bass is BRIGHT! Nickels going there.
I've had more defective DR's than I've had defective Dunlops, that's for sure. It happens.
All I can do is speak from my experience. I've had maybe 2 defective DR strings in 8 years vs 1 defective string in each of 3 packs of Dunlop strings.

After loving SBNs on my Jazz 4 I put a 45-130 set on my Lakland JO5. E-G sound great but the 130 B string doesn't quite keep up with the rest as far as brightness, clarity and focus. Thoughts? Should I try the 125? Thanks!
I didn't care for the .125 and found the .130 to be much brighter and fuller sounding. On my Roscoe I notice there is a sweet spot on the .130 right in front of the neck pickup where plucking it sounds best, so don't be afraid to move around and find that sweet spot!
This is also what I love about SuperBrights. I usually end up changing them just because I forgot how long it had been since last changing them, they last that long!
Well the set I've been using lately has been on there for 3 months now, and I think it's time to change them. But man, I have so enjoyed not changing my strings every couple gigs!
The super bright Marcus Millers are really tickling my fancy right now. I'm convinced Marcus Miller asked them to design a string like roto 66's, they are that similar for me. Except they last way longer, cost less, and are a local company 
I've got a 6 string set on the way so I can use the bottom 5 on my Dingwall Super P5 which has crusty, dead rounds of unknown origin on it.
It's really odd that they offer only the 120 or 125 B 5 string sets, but they offer the 130 B in the six string set, so I just bought the set for 6 string. I'm excited to give these a try.

I wanted to like them. Bought 6 sets. 3 for 4 string, 3 for 5 string. 2 of 3 of the 4 string sets had a dead E string right out of the package. The retailer tried to help me out and told Dunlop. They sent me one replacement E string but not a second. The 5 string sets were good but nothing better than what I use now. Overall good strings but nothing a step up from what I'm used to. Very doubtful I'll buy them again. Oh well. Wanted to love them.

I fitted them 4 days ago, I have played them for about 3 hours at home and the E string is already dead.
I emailed Dunlop customers services yesterday morning but no reply so far.
Has anyone had a similar issue? Not sure if they have changed anything but mine came with the old packaging.

I fitted them 4 days ago, I have played them for about 3 hours at home and the E string is already dead.

I believe they have tweaked the formula since the days of the old packaging, but either way the E shouldnt be dead already. Won't hurt to loosen it and make sure it didn't twist when wound up. But I have had better luck out of the 45-105's, they just seem more 'right' and the 2-3 dead strings I've had were from 40-100 sets. No such problems after about 25 sets of the 45-105 sets, new or old packaging.

Did you email anyone in particular at Dunlop? I want to get in touch with them and see what they say.
I had a dead E in the 45-105 SBN set, emailed customer service at Dunlop over a month ago and....nothing. Resent and got a response: "Sorry, I forwarded your email over to our Customer service person Frank Aresti on 2/18.. I’ve sent it again.."
