Hey TBers. I'm after some advise. As I have to regularly move my bass rig up and down stairs I'm looking for the loudest but also smallest bass amp that can keep up with a loud pub rock band.

Prefer an amp but will consider a combo if it doesn't weigh a ton!Are you talking about an amp or a combo?
Amp doesn't make any sound without a cabinet so it's eitherPrefer an amp but will consider a combo if it doesn't weigh a ton!
Well i'm currently using old style solid state gear from Marshall or Ashdown. Love the sound. Hate the weight. Looking for something like a Trace ELF or similar if it can get vloud enough hooked up to a 2x12?Needs a dollar limit and a weight limit. Modern gear pumps crazy volume from small light boxes but you pay the big bucks.

Band has 1 x drummer, 2 x guitarists, 1 x bass, 1 x sax. Pub rock. Rolling Stones, Cold Chisel, AC/DC etc.
I had that set up for quite a while those cabinets are very nice and still have them. The Fender rumble 500 has a very good tone and one of the best onboard overdrives you can get anywhere near that price range.Or if that's too much money, Fender Rumble Bass 500 head (5 lbs) and two Rumble 115 cabs (39 lbs each).
Exactly what I was going to recommend.Mesa Subway D-800+ head (5 lbs) with two Mesa Subway Ultralight 1x15 cabs (37 lbs each). Make an extra trip.
