Long story short, I just received a EBMM Ray 5 that I got for an absolute deal from a shop in PA. I knew the finish on the back was messed up but I couldn't refuse it for the price.
Anyway, upon looking at it in person I realize the finish on the back of the ray is peeling up pretty good. I did some research and found that a full refin would cost a decent amount of cash. I actually really like the color and I would just like to know if it's possible to just maybe touch it up?
Being that it's on the back of the bass I'm not too worried about it looking very pretty...I just want to prevent it from peeling any further.
Any tips on what I could do to it without having to do a full on refinish? Thanks!
Here's a pic of the damage on the back of the bass.
