I bought a used bass and the previous owner put a huge sticker on the back...now there's sticker goo and it's so hard to remove...are there any tricks I can used to remove this without damaging the bass?
thanks!
In a discreet area of the bass try a tiny bit of Ronsonol lighter fluid. If it doesn't damage the finish apply liberally and wipe off the goo.The lighter fluid will evaporate and leave no trace at all. Naptha is the main ingredient. The same thing that's in dry cleaning solution. I used this stuff for years in the book business to get stickers off book covers.
