Tired of Buckle Rash??

Back in the '80s, I used to see ads in "Guitar Player" mag for something I believe was dubbed the "Axe Jacket", I dunno. It was a spandex/neoprene-type cover that stretched over the back and secured around the horns of the body. If that rings a bell with anyone...

That guy in Florida has a good idea. The adhesive clear backing is a lot like the 3M film used on automobiles to protect hoods and cowlings on cars' fronts from damage by rocks, debris, etc. Same principle.
 
Untucking my shirt didn't prevent my 4001 from loosing about 75% of the paint on its back. I just ended up with holes through all of my shirts. That's OK though since I played that damn thing so hard for more than 10 years that it's also missing a lot of the paint on the front too.

Now I turn my belt to the side when I'm playing the 4003. What happened to me, man? I used to be cool...
