TL-6 help?

Hey guys, im sure someone else has asked this question before but...i have a peavey TL-6 . Its 20 years old and the electronics are starting to go. Im trying to figure out the best preamp, pickup combo to best duplicate its original sound. I've looked online and haven't had much luck finding any info? If any of you know what the stock pickups/preamp are or a good substitute I would be thankful for that info!

What's the problem with the preamp? Most problems with the Peavey gear is scratchy pots or maybe a broken wire or worn out jack. All are easily fixed and a new jack is available. The parts in the PCB are common and easily replaced if something on it has gone bad.

Its just started sounding extremely dull and flat. Like there's no life in it. I suspect the pickups but figured if I were to replace the pickups then id may as well replace the preamp. But if the preamp is solid maybe ill start with the pickups.

To be more specific with my question I really really liked the sound of this bass before its gotten all icky. I would like to bring its sound back to how it used to be but for the life of me I can't find what the stock pickups are so I can buy them or any info on what good double p pickups are out there for six string basses. You guys know anything about that stuff? Thanks guys! Appreciate it!
