To buy or not? 2001 P Deulxe 5-string?

2001 Made in USA Fender P-Bass Deluxe 5 String
Anyone got anything good, bad or otherwise to say about this 5-er? Looking for a 5-string P to replace/upgrade from my Affinity J 5-er.

I had one and it rocked. It was like having a p-bass on steroids which is probably due to the humbucker pick up. but i know nothing about electronics so dont quote me.To this day it had the best neck I ever played on a bass. There is a little more grit with the deluxe than the non deluxe. The only reason why I sold it was to get my Sandberg because I wanted that extra punch. If you love the p-bass tone...buy it.

I really miss mine. It was a 2001. A little heavy, (but so is my 2012 American Deluxe Jazz 5) but what a great bass. Didn't like the preamp all that much for my taste so I took it out and made it passive.
