Toby Standard IV Epiphone Bass

I'd like to hear some opinions on this bass
I know it's cheap and that i can't expect much for the price

I've always found that the difference between Epiphone basses and their high end brothers is is only the name. If you like it then it's probably worth getting it

In this particular case, the difference between a real Tobias or MTD and the Epi is slightly more than the name.

That said, I've played a couple and found them to be good playing and sounding basses, especially considering the money. I don't know if they're the best thing in the price range or not, but worth considering. I wouldn't trade my Tobias Basic for one though.

I would be looking at other brands in that price range if it were me. Gibson/Epi can barely make 6 strings right now let alone basses.

I tried a couple at GC and didn't care for any of them. Shame too because in white they're quite beautiful.
