Hi, i just trade an Aria for a Tokai jazz Sound from the 81, but searching into google i saw only rosewood, so i don't get it, im just lucky or i get scammed?

Tokai Jazz Sound Early 81, maple neck

I was around back then and I don't remember a Jazz Sound with maple fingerboard - just the Precision. Not to say they weren't made, but I don't remember ever seeing one in the flesh or in the catalogues. IIRC 1981 was the first year of the Jazz Sound.
yeah, i get it, but it seems prettey authentic, even if it isnt, i dont really care, i love it!

In the 80's Japanese companies changed specs all the time. They also made slightly different models for different markets. Chances are very good it is authentic.

Oh, I wasn't suggesting it was fake, just that I've never seen one in all maple. It is certainly cool and early - later ones, at least for the European market, had a less stylised T that looked more like a T and less like the Fender F...
