One of my all time favorites! Mr. Tom Kennedy. If he's on record, I'm buying! I spoke to him about the Fodera NYC Empire 5 string that he used a number of years ago on a Mike Stern gig. I know why he did it, but I'm curious to know if anyone else out there has played a Fodera NYC, and what are your thoughts on that particular bass?

Are you talking about those Fodera Jazz style basses they used to make? I saw Tom Kennedy live with his signature Fodera and he was incredible! He may have turned in the best live performance I have ever seen from a bassist.
