Tone control inoperative on EMG PJ Active set

Last night I replaced the stock squier pj pickups (bass boost circuit) on my jaguar and installed the EMG PJ Active set following the next diagram

I'm a little disappointed because pickups volumen don't give much "volume" than originals. The tone control is inoperative, you do not notice the difference. Both volume controls are 25k and a 25k passive tone control (emg sends that passive knob)

I don't know if the battery it's draining (I don't thing so because it was working good with the stock pickups)

Any advice?

You shouldn't expect a volume boost - active EMGs aren't made to be any louder than typical passive pickups.

Otherwise, as MPU said, double-check your wiring, making sure the black/white wires are in the correct position.
