First off, thanks in advance for any and all help.
Here's my rig:
Trace Elliot AH600SMX
BBE Bmax
Trace Elliot 4x10
Trace Elliot 1x15
Conklin GT7
Here's my issue, I play in a metal band, which of course is loud, and I like to do a little bit of everything. I love a big bottom end, but I'm having issues finding that balance between that and mids and highs. Slapping or tapping up high is completely lost. I thought adding the Bmax would help shape my tone, but its not helping too much.
I know this sounds very amateurish, but I've never delved too deep into the tone end of things. I used to freelance a ton, and do a lot of jazz type stuff. I felt like then it was much easier to have a balanced tone. I also wasn't having to push the output of the head as much as I'm doing now.
Thank you!
