Wow, such a icon! I was lucky to see him some years back at the Hardrock in S. Florida. Was amazing! Just had his simple band, guitar, piano, bass and drums. He nailed every song and was so fun to watch and listen to.

I haven't been out to the ball park for a while, but every home Giants game ends with Bennet's "I Left My Heart in San Francisco".

Even though I'm very sad today about his passing, he lived an absolutely incredible life to the fullest until the very end. I just listened to his (I Left My Heart) In San Francisco album from beginning to end this morning... one of the best ever. Thank you Tony!

Had the good fortune to see him perform in a smallish setting about 10 years ago. He was a surprise guest at a company event. I was absolutely amazed at how smooth and polished he was. He made it look effortless, moving smoothly from song to song, amazing rapport with the audience, killer band, amazing voice. Truly a master.

I left inspired, and remind myself of this any time I start thinking I'm getting too old to keep playing. Why quit when you keep improving?
