Jesse, you still there? Your OP was kinda short. 
Are you using a preamp? I think the BP-100 likes to see 10 Mohm impedance on whatever it's plugged into (amp, preamp, DI).
Some people also say it sounds better when you "glue" the p/u to the bridge somehow. Perhaps not for the faint-hearted, unless you can do it in a manner that's reversible (if it were me that is).
I've never used one myself. Just passing along what I've gathered from perusing this forum.

I've had 8 basses in my life. The BP-100 was/is the pickup of choice on 3 of them. Fat, deep, beautiful sound. It didn't work at all on the other 5 regardless of how hard I worked to fit it. Fingernails on a blackboard bad. It either worked great or not at all. The 3 that it worked on were fully carved basses. Two fully carved basses didn't work with it and the others were plywoods. I couldn't get anything usable with the plywoods.
