It's very easy to control. The round base is the "handle". I grasp it with my thumbs and forefingers and it glides around on the acrylic. The mass helps it move smoothly. I have two mototools and I chose this one because it's a little shorter and it keeps the height down a bit.

I'm knocking out the bonsai inlay on the latest Fairlane.
