I don't see it as a "versus" type of thread. It is just a thread were everybody gets to state their fav players, is that so wrong? I know why the versus type of threads are hated but you can't deny they are fun. It's like telling some football or
F1 fans not to talk about which guy was the better.....it's just part of the fun of being a fan of something, IMO.

Best I've ever seen in person is Victor Wooten and I've seen quite a few since my first concert--Sly and the Family Stone at Madison Square Garden NYC summer 1970.

Favorites in Rock are Entwhistle, Colin Moulding (XTC) and Mc Cartney.
