I know a good guy in my town
But my sense is that my bass
Needs a bit of luck in terms of getting it to be resonant on the E string ( the F F# G G# etc on the E string are abysmally soft in volume )
My discussions with one bass player boiled down to the placement of the sound post was critical in finally ( after previous mediocre results ) getting a sound he desired . It sounded a bit serendipitous - if that's a word !
So I may take it to lemur music ..
Any other top notch repair setup person, in Southern California ?
I had my heart set on an expensive bass but I may have to settle on my plywood bass for time being .
