I'm in Toronto, and I've never even been to club bass, if you'd believe it. I'd love to more details about this if it's still going on.

Yup, Scarberia here and count me in!
I believe that located across the street from Club Bass is one of T.O.'s finer "ballet" clubs, but don't know if they have a patio.
Meeting at Club Bass would be cool... actually, watching Dave's reation as we fill the place would be flippin hilarious!

I go bike riding in the morning (usually a few hours, unless it rains) so mid afternoon would work best.

Yeah I'd love to see Dave's reaction when a big bunch of us all show up and start miling around his 'boutique' store. Then we all ask to demo his fleet of Laklands...veins popping...

That's actually a good idea. Wouldn't hurt to bring whatever gear you may have to sell/trade, or at least bring pictures of it's too much to carry (and taking back home).

I guess first we should see how many people can attend, and what time. Anyone know Dave at CB well? I've been there a few times but I don't know him that well.

Looks like I won't be in Toronto until after Labor Day. I will keep checking this thread and see when there might be a GTG. Where is this Bass Club? Is it a store?

Healey's Roadhouse might be very receptive to this type of GTG. The old Healey's would have been perfect but I don't know much about the new place.

Does the new Healey's still have a Tuesday evening jam night?

Ok I'm in, beer ,bass, babes, what more could you ask for. As for a meeting /drinking spot that's, well cheap, there are thousands of them.
We might have to try for more than one date if we can't swing this soon.....
