Yeah that was fun everyone!!! It was so wicked to meet you all - looking forward to the next one 
Yessir! I had the red, flame maple Dingwall...showed up closer to 4pm...got a flat tire on the 407. Lol Great turnout too!! Amazing to see some talented people playing and seeing all the fancy gear. Can't wait for the next one!! Maybe my new Dingwall will be born by then...another six or seven months I suppose.
Oh that was you! Then we did meet. I played that DW a little. I had ethe Ampeg/Mesa Rig and two Rickenbackers in the corner. Maybe when you get your planned Dingwall and you decide to sell that red one I'd be interested possibly depending on my own situation.Yessir! Speaking of flat tires on the 407...
Driving home along 407 around McCowan I guess a little red car just ahead of me loses it's front left wheel. I mean loses all of it. Tire, rim and maybe some steering/suspension bits. Buddy does a good job getting pulled uover on the shoulder to the right. Me? I'm just tracking the wheel as it is now rolling along the 407 at 120 KPH. It was drifitng left and finally hits the side median wall. Thank god it was an area with space between east and westbound lanes as it mounts the wall and lands over it in the area that is prepped for the permanent median wall. Bouncing along in there and hardly slowing down at all. Thought it might get into the westbound lanes (oh my gosh that could have been a fatal thing for somebody) but finally it hits a light standard a good 8 feet in the air. I was watching real close by now as there was no knowing if it would bounce back to our lanes. Fortunately that was the end of it.
I did look in the mirror and the affected car had stopped safely. I did not stop as I was too far down the road and walking along a highway is not my idea of safe. If the car had flipped or something I would have. The people were stopped safely and the tire was no longer a danger.

LOL...I SAW that car!!! The tow truck was there and I saw the driver side front tire/rim gonzo! Funny thing was, I drove by and wondered where that tire went! You got good seats for the show apparently! Lol...oh well, nobody hurt....except someone's pride. Lol
Ya not sure I will sell the DW(s)....but Ya never know. I was going to bring a couple other basses too...wasn't sure how many we could/should bring....now that I know, I will bring a few next time. You had a sweet setup there!!! Loved that natural colour Ric too....never seen one in real life.

Musta been almost right behind you. Never saw a car lose a wheel before. Did not see the moment actually but saw the wheel moving left and saw bits of car breaking off as it dragged it's left front corner on the highway. Once I saw that the car was under control all focus went to the wheel, rolling first, then airborne. Crazy!
It is a more the merrier when it comes to gear. Bring as much as your back can handle. Glad I did not bring the other 410 too! My back is pretty sore tonight.LOL...I SAW that car!!! Strangely enough, I had this happen to me maybe 15 years ago. I had a $h!tbox VW Golf and was driving on the 401 just west of the DVP and the front driver wheel flew off. I was driving in the express and it bounced across all collector lanes and stopped on the grass embankment. It bounced like crazy for what seemed like minutes! Nobody got hurt, thank god. A 30-40lb wheel bouncing thru your windshield at 120 would definately leave a mark!

Good looking crew! Is that smoke from the back right? LOL! I think it is all OK actually. Main V was at 3/4 and amp was on mute with single cab hooked up. Think it just tripped the high limit. I made a very important discovery today: no matter how much you fiddle with the knobs on your amp, and no matter how thoroughly you recheck power, SpeakOn, and other connections, no sound will come out of your speakers so long as your instrument cable is plugged into the headphone jack.

It's exactly as you said: always check the very simplest of possible explanations. I get bonus bonehead points for not just plugging into the headphone jack in the first place, but for plugging your cable into it when I was checking the cables, and then plugging my cable back in to it again at the end. *red face*
I do stuff like that all the time. Plugging my bass into the output of my tuner, plugging my preamp into the speaker jack of my poweramp, forgetting to plug cabs into my amp and not being able to figure out why nothing works, etc. Pretty comical. Really funny at a gig.
Having trouble uploading photos, I sent them to the Hook, maybe he will have better luck.
Anyway, I had a great time seeing the guys from last year and seeing some new faces. I can't wait till the next GTG.
