This is my second Torzal and here it is next my first one made in 2017. Now I just need a 4-string and then I can call it quits! Maybe in a few more years.
It's been a few days and I'm still getting used to it. It's my first six-string and a longer scale length (37" on the B). The tone is also different as well as it features Nordstrand and an Audere Pro-Z (Jerome got it before Audere shut down). The 5-string has EMG pickups + pre which is great and hyper-articulate, but not especially versatile, and I wanted this one to have a different character. The output is not quite as hot and lends itself to passive tones since the Audere pre is very configurable. I'm still dialing it in.
Needless to say, the build quality and setup is impeccable. Now it's time to hit the woodshed - when you show up with a 6 everyone expects massive chops
