excellent makes me hungary
Was sitting in a chair reading this morning when a blur of movement on the floor caught my eye. I looked down and this was hiding behind the coffee table leg next to my foot. It was nice enough to pose for a few snapshots.

Reminds me of when I was half my age. I owned a plumbing company up in Lake Arrowhead and was working on this very old house where I had to climb under the house through old fencing that was laying under there and work on their plumbing for eight hours. I made it a habit to never look around in the dark just in case I didn’t like what I see but this one time I decided I’d take a look after the job was done and there were black widows hundreds and hundreds of them in every corner. Anyway they let me do my job all day long without attacking me or biting me and I was lucky I didn’t stick my hand in one of their numerous webs as I was working my way back into the substructure of this old mansion on my stomach. Was sitting in a chair reading this morning when a blur of movement on the floor caught my eye. I had a smiler experience many moons ago. I was renting a house so old it had an addition on the back where a kitchen and bathroom had been added when the owner first got an electric well and indoor plumbing. It had been remodeled and while it didn’t look like much on the outside, it had been updated on the inside with insulsted walls and ceiling and modern windows and doors.View attachment 3341329

Anywho, one day the cold water to the bathroom sprung a leak in a pipe under the house so i go under there with my flashlight to see what it’s gonna take to fix it. Turns out the original black iron pipes had seen better days so i worked out a deal with the landlord to replace them all. It was only after i started the job that i discovered the crawl space was over run witb black widows. I stopped work and took a couple days to fumigate that crawl space real good before i went back under there. I’d been under there several times before i discovered all the spiders and have no idea how i didn’t get bit.
