Went out for a little ride on Sunday, our friends UTV is in the foreground, ours behind it. Both basically the same but ours is a little newer. Always fun bombing around North Idaho trails with them.
I arrived back in Edinburgh on Tuesday to find that it had been raining.
Hanging with my kids at Empire State plaza today I snapped some shots of NY State Troopers with their K9’s. Easily the most police dogs I’ve ever seen in one place. These are just 11 or 12 of the 90 K9’s our state police employ:

Do they still have free concerts at The Egg?
I saw Cracker and Steel Pulse play at the Empire St. Plaza back in the 90's.
Yes during the summer season at the Plaza there are still a bunch of free shows. AFAK, no free shows in the Egg itself. It’s one of my favorite venues. Very intimate, yet deceptively spacious. Great sound. They were doing a bunch of work on it yesterday when I was there with scaffolding stairways going right to the top. I think they’re converting it to solar. It will be interesting to see how they execute that visually but I don’t think the top is visible from any angle anyway.
Rhododendrosaurus Rex thrives on neglect:
Just a birds next in a hanging plant outside my house. Pretty cool though. The tiny mama bird flies away when you come out of the front door to the tree right next to the house and then sits there and chirps up a storm until you go away.
