Some from last night's solo-beer-buzzed-sunset kayak run. Seriously, if you ever get the chance to kayak by yourself at sunset, I highly recommend it. Last night the slow current was perfect. I paddled out for about 20 minutes amd the current took about 35 minutes to bring me right back to our dock. I was literally sipping beer and drifting with my feet propped up. The first one is the actual canal where our place is. My Galaxy S8 phone cam was gathering light. It was actually quite a bit darker than that as I was pulling back into the canal to end my evening paddle. My apologies for my not-so-beautiful feet. We do have a tradition here at the phone pics thread though. So I felt obligated. Was it @rufus.K that started the "chill feet" pics?

I honestly didn't believe one of my newer friends when he sent me the top 2 pics saying that he acquired a new wild baby pet raccoon

Well, he wasn't kidding! He's a proud redneck who grew up on a farm and does roofing with his father when he's back in the sticks. They found another nest and he said he just snatched up the baby, and 'got rid of' the other 3

Well, I stopped over his apartment in town earlier and got to witness bottle feeding time. He's a cuddly critter named Bubbles and seems to love the pampered domestic life so far >
