Beautiful as wellCalifornia on fire. Taken from my front yard this evening looking towards the Lake fire north of Los Angeles. Ash was falling from the sky earlier.
31,000 acres burned. Still going after 24 days, 90% containment. Thank you firefighters, it's brutally hot out there.

I have been struggling with how to go about an out-of-state move. So much 'stuff' to deal with. This would simplify the process.Almost forgot to mention that his caption on the photo: This car was a POS anyway. Not a bad attitude after losing everything.
Oops! I think we lost our outboard motor!
Beautiful shots!

Rock n RollDuring these Covid times, local bands have been taking it upon themselves to give free "On the water concerts" at King Harbor, Redondo Beach, CA. These bands have just been doing it without any permission by the authorities which I think is kind of cool. Lots of people out on kayaks, stand up paddle boards, dingy's and yachts anchored in the outer harbor enjoying the music. Saturday's band was playing classic 60's surf music and had that surf guitar tone and reverbs dialed in just right. Such a perfect venue for a very warm Labor Day weekend.
