Well, we did it. Sold our home in CA, bought a new place in Florida, made the trek across the country, and started the move-in process. Took an early morning bike ride in the community and a couple scenes caught my eye. Have always thought capturing reflections makes for interesting photos.

Thanks! Having lived in a desert for 37 years, shooting water pics was a rarity. Plenty of water around now! Looking for the gators for a cool wildlife shot

1) Heartfelt congratulations for having the will...and the organizational skills necessary...to pick up and move across the country!
Breaking down the house, and setting it up again would be a Steep hill to climb.

2) Look for a great range of birds, and Crazy Cool flora! ✌

It’s been a chunk of effort to get this far, still a ton to do to get set up how we want. I figure another year before we get there, and at the rate I get things done that probably means 2 or 3, but it’s all good. Enjoying the kids and grandkids in the midst of the chaos.

Previous plan was to sell in the spring, then the pandemic hit, so we paused expecting a year delay. Then in the summer the local housing market went nuts, so finished up painting and listed for sale. Five offers in four days. Snuck in an offer on a house in FL before the real estate wave hit here. Crazy and unusual times
