Eastern end of the San Gabriel Mountains.

FUN FACT: the rightmost peak is Cucamonga Peak with the city of Rancho Cucamonga at its base. You may recognize that name from a certain waskly wabbit or The Jack Benny show. Cucamonga is the Tongva word for "sandy place".

Couple more from that old Galaxy S5... taken from the summit of Fort Lewis mountain, one looking southward toward Roanoke, Virginia. (you can just make out the downtown district if you zoom in)

The other is an about-face looking north toward West Virginia. Nothing but 50 miles of mountain ridges and wilderness.
