One day I’d like to hire a bike and spend a while riding from Seattle down to San Francisco. I read a lot of Kerouac as a teen. I’ve been to San Fran before but didn’t get to spend as long as I’d like there. But its the woods and mountains and sea that I love the most.

2 of our birds serving as beta testers for some new child-and-parrot targeted software. It's a simple (but really pretty) coloring app - touching the blank panels fills in the color, sort of like paint by numbers. The birds really enjoy it.

I was going to post a picture of a Roman carved signpost that apparently pointed the way to a house of friendly ladies. But I thought better of it in case it offends.

*edit* looks like its attached anyway and I cant see how to remove it. Oh well.

The north west coast of the US is one of the most beautiful areas in the US. IMO.

Some of the idiosyncrasies of The Historic Brookdale Lodge. Well haunted with a stream that flows through the dining room (currently closed for renovations). You can see the stream coming out from under the wall.
