I think you're correct about that.

This time flying, I got lucky with the window's not being condensated or too smudgy (& only was right over the wing on the way there), so I was able to get some pretty nice aerial shots from Las Vegas back to Seattle.

I realize there's a lot here and they take a minute or two to load, but they all came out so great, and this isn't even a quarter of the good ones. Flying over the desert & mountains was like looking down on the moon :wideyed:

Bonus points for there being a water tower in the last photo? :D

(And oh yea @two fingers... I took all these at over 400mph :laugh:)

It’s a Pristine 1961 Nash Metropolitan!
I’m not much of a car guy, but I’d seen coffee table pictures of this unique thing in the past.
...first time seeing one in the real world...


I have some other good shots of it, but they include the license plate #. I have a bad feeling about putting that out on the intrawebs...sorta like taking a child’s picture without asking permission from mom or dad.
If I knew how to pixilate or smudge the number I would.

Cool, I've seen them over here once in a while, didn't think they originally sold them in the US, tho people will sometimes ship a one off car over there.
Getting parts might be interesting, tho many old Brit cars shared common electical , brake and fuel system items thru different makes.
Both my cars are from the 60s and i mess with motors so interesting to see the one you found, very cute!

Just googled the Nash, aparently about 95000 went to USA and Canada, so I'm wrong about them being more geared towards the Brit market ( tho they were sold and indeed made here!)
Seems to have virtually the same engine as one of mine, a Morris, too...
Aparently the factory presented a special black and gold one off Metropolitan to Princess Margaret in 1960...and it was stolen the following year!:laugh:
Big mistake btw, to start me talking about old cars...!!
