At first glace I thought those tyres looked like they were made of canvas (LOL), at close up I can see that the gravel has stuck to 'em. I loved sticky tyres when I rode sports bikes. (I still like sticky tyres, but also go for mileage now that I only ride tourers.

Yea, those are from the Gila National Forest in New Mexico. Amazing ride but it took us 2 hrs of boring straight highway to get there before we got into the canyons and the fun stuff.
