I've owned every brand of yard equipment you can think of. All of them require/have required some sort of tinkering to get started at the beginning of every season. All of them EXCEPT my Honda motor pressure washer. You just pull the cord and it starts every single time. That thing has made me a believer in Honda engines.

Totally agree. Everything Honda powered I own is one pull start.

I wish I had a Honda powered chainsaw but I don't see them ever making two-stroke engines again.

I woke up to this, this morning. Finally, our first major seasonal rainstorm is coming to SoCal. We have been in an extreme drought in recent years. Yahoo!

Get yourself a Shindaiwa - Starting procedure is pull out the choke pull until it fires (usually only 2) push choke in, and it will run all day! Far less fiddly than the popular alternatives. As a tree lopper in a past life I've seen many brands. For large saws (>36" bar) - still is the king. For medium saws (12-24") Shindaiwa, For climbing Saws - Echo.

This was a going to be a new winter project

its a bit rough I got the engine running :thumbsup: so I looked over the rest of the bike to see what I need to do. and then I saw this

The VIN frame numbers have a ground off which means only one thing its stolen :eek: I got in touch with the dealer and got my money back such a shame I was looking forward to fixing up :( any way I chose another bike

and got it cheaper because of what happened with the other bike :)

That was a good save! It also shows the value of buying from a reputable dealer!
