We've had a major storm here that closed the main road into town and took out our power and internet for 12 hours Friday and 36 hours over NYE to just now.
We are fortunate to have a generator so we had power, just no network.
I had stocked up on food and made some good stews...

It's daylight savings here at the moment and we've been having some incredibly still, near windless late afternoons. And the light is almost perfect.

Taken yesterday, not by me, at a local favorite surfing spot here in Palos Verdes, CA. Looking at the 2 week forecast, we have lots of rain coming to California which we need baldly.

This is a chimney on a UofO building that is 100+ years old. Every year hundreds if not thousands of a breed of bird swarm to on their travels. Took this one morning as I was walking from that building to another for work.

The hoar frost was really putting out.

But today we are on but my BNC Word Clock doesn't work in Logic with a Presonus 1824C and Korg Triton Rack with EXB DI (ADAT optical out works). Also got EXB SCSI and SD card emulator and USB floppy emulator and EXB PCM 01/02/03/04/05/08/09. And EXB MOSS, which straight owns... But I digress... Been a good few days but need MIDI clock to sync to not MIDI or internal...
Love this. Using Logitech MX advance for keyboard typing and an old Korg PadKontrol and a DJ Tech Tools MIDI Fighrter Twister and Wacom Intuos Pro M and Logictech Vertical mouse for peripherals. Have Korg EX-800. Need 66 or 88 key keyboard. Thinking of doing a minor in keys. Be good for digital stuff. Go weighted? I can already use samples for pretty much any keyboard to high standards. Just need something to touch with fingers. Thoughts?
Doing well. Programming keys over 16 pads and 16x4x2 buttons/knobs has advantages. Be well. Still, I write best on bass by a few miles.
