I bet that looks even cooler from a distance.
It's cool at night. On a post in a large courtyard. It's right downtown so the angles are limited without traffic and signs. But it's really cool.
Finished my combo to head conversion.
Another shot from last week's sunset with a little wide-angle action...
Took tolex off and shortened the box removed speaker and logo. Other than that it's bone stock. YouTube reviews said it had a terrible front end. I totally disagree. Sounds great going through my homemade cardboard box 12" speaker!

Nice! I like your style. I did a project like this years ago on an old TV set. The kind that looked like furniture. It had a beautiful base and top. Cut the top off removed the guts and tube, cutting it down not quite to the base. Left room to place a VCR and it made a great low table stand for our newer flat screen TV.

Same view as #12380 but a few days later. River is now 8 feet (rather than 1 foot) below that drainage pipe, and even at this level is way higher than normal. Still a lot of water.
Rain finally stopped yesterday, and we should get a few days break.

Once I removed the protective plastic it looks perfect!
