Took this one out hiking with my dog today on the phone. I thought it came out pretty great.
Auspuff, that's one awesome shot there. Like the way you caught the palm fronds in the foreground giving some perspective reference to the image and indicating the banking roll of the aircraft. Yep, I am an aviation geek.

No pics but…my uncle Ervie was a B17 pilot in WWII. He flew 32 missions and lived to the ripe old age of 92. He never talked about the war.
62-year old, and still working everyday, as a freighter.
In the 90’s I bought a Fender Mini Twin in Tweed (tiny practice amp). Never cared for it. I left it with my brother in law back then. He ended up pulling out the electronics for a project and he gave me the discarded remains. I painted the box with a flat black primer. I used a gloss engine paint for the speaker grill. Didn’t bother to remove the old speakers. Installed a 2.5 watt amp with on/off volume knob, red LED, and two switchcraft jacks for Input and speaker. I mounted the battery clip on the back. Hooked it up to my VHT 12 via my HLX Canyon Man it sounds beautiful.
Likely some of the last ice on the road this spring.

These where used when the Luftwaffe destroyed Coventry in the second world war as temporary housing there used to be a lot of them around but most are gone now for redevelopment

If you think the Superbowl is big news, you haven’t seen Italian football. Napoli are still 10 games away from the end of the season but have decided that they’ve already won the League. They haven’t. It’s still mathematically possible for them to lose but they are way ahead. So the fans have already begun decorating the city. I didn’t photograph any of the 40 foot high murals of Maradona. He’s dead now but they call him “God” here as he gave them their first two league victories. And this is a devoutly catholic country.This will only be the third time ever they’ve won the league.
Had a freezing storm. Then rain and froze on top of the ice in February. This is what the trees think of it. That ice is pretty but weighs a lot.
