The city came by and put a fresh coat of paint on the hydrant in front of my house. Mine is the only one with green trim. The rest throughout the neighborhood are just white. I should probably ask them why.
Perhaps they wanted to tell you that this hydrant is safe for vegans.
This is the first day that the wind has been blowing in our direction. Hopefully some special shape balloons will make their way to our little village in the next few days. If so I will try to post some pictures. The balloon fiesta is one of the coolest things that happens in Albuquerque
