OK, the amazing pics thread is just that....amazing. The photography thread here is impressive as well. I don't want to barge in on their parties at all.

That being said, phone cameras have become pretty impressive lately. As impressive as professional photography equipment? No. That's just silly.

Short version: This is the place to post pics from YOUR phone camera. The pics don't have to be amazing, but that would be cool too. I'll start. These are unedited and not "enhanced" in any way and come straight from the gallery of my Galaxy S6.

There is a rugged beauty to the Oregon Coast that really speaks to me, and the further away one gets from Portland the less likely one is to have the beaches crowded. I think it is a big part of why I like living here.

I did a wee bit of food photography today. This is goats cheese on wild garlic pesto, on sourdough bread. All the food is sourced locally!
