Seriously, am i really the first one to post a few fireworks fotos from last nite?

As per the past three 4ths, i watched the spectacle from my friends sailboat anchored in Lake Union, where they blow the works off of a barge. Lots of boats and other spectacles to be seen as we waited for dark >

If there's one thing that grinds my gears about parking, it's when the end of the row car leaves 4-5' between the end of their vehicle and the parking signs If I'm not in a huge hurry (1 out of 10 times) i'll leave a polite note on their car pointing out their upsetting of the balance of the universe (or at least their
screwing up the whole row, and leaving one less parking space.)

I know it wasn't a motorcycle or one of those tiny Zipcars, cuz they have special parking slots nearby.

Seriously, if you're visiting from an area that is more spread out... don't do that in town. And if you're that person that purposely takes up 2 parking spaces on a crowded street because you're afraid your car might get dinged, welllll... just don't do it.

Some pics of the venue that Mastodon and Primus played at last night......oh and Primus is freaking awesome!!

This is the San Diego State Amphitheater......the last time I was here was back in the 80's (I think) when Jimmy Page and The Firm played here......beautiful venue!

I took the trolley to avoid fighting for parking.....pretty cool trolley station

It was a great night!.....and Les is a 100% bad ass!

If you haven't seen Primus, you really should, whether you like the music or not, these guys are top of the line pro's.....it'd be worth it

A morning glory (I think...) that just came up in a random place. I spotted these two brilliant white blooms from a good 100 yards away on a 7am morning walkthrough yesterday.

And a mural on a building downtown. I found this image disturbing the more I looked at it.
