I drove by the San Diego Sports Arena yesterday (now named the Valley View Center) and thought I'd take a pic
This building brings back a lot of memories.
Built in 1966 this Arena hosted such events as Ali vs Ken Norton in 1973, this is where Jimi Hedrix performed his 13min version of Red House later released in 1991, home of NBA teams San Diego Rockets (now Houston) and the Clippers (now Los Angeles)
I've seen Yes, Rush, AC/DC, Black Sabbath, KISS, Iron Maiden, Van Halen etc here. Zeppelin played here in 1977....I could go on and on.....unfortunately this building is on its way out and probably will be torn down with in the next 5 years.
It'll be like saying goodbye to an old friend.

My sister Eileen’s birthday!
I talked to her while I drove south to hang with three or four hundred of my best friends.
Most all of them were dressed in white.
‘ got home in time to head toward the Athens Arena in Bogart (really, really), GA...home of the Classic City Roller Girls!
Where fishnet stockings Rule!
We have a friend of a friend who skates for the C. C. Roller Girls.
Still, the best part of Womens’ flat track roller derby is...the Names!

Very DIY, utterly amateur, flat track, elbows in! (Everybody has to go to work tomorrow!)

I snapped this one this foggy morning on top of the dam at work. After a crazy-wet Spring, all the reservoirs are full, and running over.
Muenster and turkey omelette with a few dashes of Tobasco Chipotle sauce, fresh self grinded Greenwell Farms coffee, and Fallout 4. Gotta start the morning off right. Happy Fourth of July everyone!
I'll see @Element Zero 's omelette and raise to a genuine Pastel De Nata from Lisbon.
