I have no idea what that is, but it's a damn fine picture.
It's part of a power supply from a Quad Eight console from the early 80s
Our @rufus.K has been photographing things that normally remain unseen, using his keen 3rd eye

Noticed a bunch of hawks circling nearby around noon today >
That last on is a plane, not a hawk
This morning i helped the nice neighbor lady dispatch this spider... who had taken up residency on her porch, but was creeping her out 
I thought he was quite striking >
It clung to the remnants of it's web as i relocated it across our street with a dried frawn >

On return, i spied this one in the morning light on our property >

Hard to tell from the pics but it looks like a kettle of TVs, not hawks.

It's an aquired ability
My surfer buddy, who also does art for a living, painted this surf scene on my Yamaha beater bass for me. I use to play this Yamaha bass for beach gigs where sand and salt residue would always seem to get on my bass. I think I only payed $100 for this bass used so it did not matter to much if it got beat up. That said, the bass is super light, well balanced between body and head-stock and very comfortable to play long gigs with. Also, I been thinking about restringing it with flats and start playing it again.
