Totally irrelvant TBer info share thread

I can move my small toe on my right foot nearly perpendicular to the foot itself, but not with the left. I also have very wide feet, so as a kid, all my right shoes wore out quickly that way.
I can't move my toes individually. If I try to bend one of my toes on my right foot, they all bend - same with the left.

Also, and irrelevant...

My left ear canal isn't as deep as my right.

And I cannot wink with my right eye. No problem though with the left.

I was also born two weeks premature and have always believed this caused the issues above.

I occasionally wake from a dream laughing. The first time it happened because I dreamt I was bowling using a hyena as the ball and a trough urinal as the alley. The hyena hit the curved end of the urinal and shot straight up in the air. Hy-larious, for some reason.

I have been in 3 parades, been an on-air radio morning guy, fired numerous Fullly Automatic weapons, and seen a RHCP concert on floor 107 of the World Trade Center, less than a year before 9/11.

I was once on the show Cash Cab with two other friends.

During the drive, we got every question right (some really tough ones too), as well as smoked the Red Light Challenge.

We opted for the Double or Nothing question at the end and they gave us a stupid hard one, which we got wrong...

However, they claimed there was some error in the video segment of the question and they gave us another question, which was the easiest question of the night.

Only the second question aired and we left the Cash Cab with $1400 CAD between the three of us.

What happened next?
Nothing really... My Dad (the driver) floored it, and about 20 minutes we were in a town with pretty standard, even sunny, weather. You would never know a tornado (actually there were several of them) were headed that way.

We were listening to local radio and it wasn't until about that time (the 20 minutes later) that a tornado warning was reported... It is actually pretty scary how quickly they pop up.

As a former truck driver and meteorologist, I have to say this is awesome, but also pics or it didn't happen.:cigar:
I wish I had pics. This happened about 16 years ago and was too scared to rummage around the cab to pull out the Polaroid.

It was cool a moment though. We were driving through the mid-US somewhere in the mid-summer. The sky had an odd yellowy-green hue to it. The wind was blowing hard.

My Dad looked at me and said, "Hey Matt, you ever seen a tornado before? Look over here."

I hopped up on the bed in the cab and looked out the window and saw one of those huge tornadoes that have a few thinner ones spinning around it, probably a mile or so away.

Then the truck started shaking. My Dad said, "That tornado is too far away to effect us. There has to be one much closer."

I hopped back in the passenger seat and scoured the area but I couldn't see it. I had a bad feeling and moved my head towards the windshield and looked up and that's when I saw it.

I screamed, "it's coming down above us." And he floored it as fast as the governor allowed the truck to go.

I'm pissed off because I just cracked my french press. I don't even know how it happened. I decided to change it up and ordered a Moka pot. It's all metal, so it won't crack for no damn reason at all.
It was that Chock full 'o Nuts, you need to stay away from that. I didn't think you would be able to decontaminate from that stuff, now we know.
