Spinning vinyl is a whole different experience than listening to digital music.
For some of us boomers it brings us back to our youth. (Okay boomer... eye roll

)
In high school it took three hours wages at the gas station to be able to go to Tower Records and pick out one album. We'd listen to he whole thing from start to finish, unlike these days when you just push a button to get to the next song. I can pull out an old album and remember spending an hour at the record store forty five years ago trying to decide if I should buy it.
For me it's just a more satisfying experience than streaming or CD's, iPod, etc.
Even with the hisses, pops and occasional skips.
