Ive already tried saudering and that helped a little, but when I plug my Ibanez Tr70 into an amp (ive tried multiple so i no its not the amp), it makes a lot of noise. But if I push the cord further in or pull it out a tad it is quiet. It only makes noise when it is at a resting place by itself! Help! Could I be missing a piece on the jack to keep the cord further out of the jack? I will post pics when I get a chance tomorrow.
