Traben Chaos Core 5 Review

So you have had it for little while now? Any expanded thoughts?

Also could you post a close up picture of the inlay at the 12th fret on the neck? It is hard to see on the photos on Traben's site.

Thanks

this is a great bass period. sounds tonally amazing!.I payed 509.00 and i feel it is worth double the price.very light weight for a 5'er,it feels ligther than my geddy.Let me say something truly about this traben bass.I know they dont get much respect here on TB,and this traben model seems to be thought as a metal genre instrument. So let me clear something up here,Yes it can be used in a metal band. But the wide tonal range of the bass is far more than just metal.Over the past week i have played this bass... trying and susceeding in coming very close to the tones of rush,t-hip,metallica,tom petty..along with some really great slap tones as well.I dont have the means to record any clips to prove this, but i am really serious that this bass breaks the stigma that trabens have got here on TB.all i can say is go try one of the CC4's or CC5's for your self.A true tone monster in its own right.I love mine!

ahhh im so stokked to get mine! I ordered the same exact model as yours. would you know by any chance if they fit into the standard traben hardshell case designed for the array series?

1 case fits all traben basses, except the bootsy star bass.I ordered a case when i ordered the cc5,fits like a glove...very nice case made by tour grade.post some pictures up here, and give a review too!

Sadly, this statement can be made about a number of basses in here. I think that if you play what you like and are inspired to play it with all your heart no one should come down on you.

The bass looks great - to hell with the nay-sayers!!!

Thanks, and i dont really care what people say,if they haven't played one, well then i am sorry but you are missing out on a great bass for 600.00$ bones.

I got all my replys back with in a day or two.Todd rockfield is the fella who anwsered my e-mails.

Bingo, I hate a lot of brands that everyone on here love, yeah, I just don't comment on their threads, not that hard to do really.
