Has anyone compared these? The 1x10 is bigger and seems like it would sound fuller but the 1x8 has that excellent faital driver. The slightly smaller size and weight of the 1x8 is appealing as well.

Does it though? As you said, there isn't much info, and the mention of FaitalPro drivers is (unless I've missed it) only made in relation to the 2x8 cabinet, which (again if I remember correctly) comes with two 8PR200-16 woofers.but the 1x8 has that excellent faital driver.
That's a very reasonable way to look at the choice IMO since it seems likely that the speaker quality and the cab voicing engineering/design approach would be similar...I assume it's all done by the same designer/design team. If this were a choice between cabs from different companies their designer engineers might make very different trade decisions based on what they look for in a driver and how their company voices their cabs.I would defer to anyone who has actually tried both.
Failing that, I crunched some numbers and compared woofer area: approximately 50 square inches vs 78. That seems to me like a significant (as in 1 1/2x) edge for the 1x10 for not that much more money or weight.
That would probably inform my decision if I were planning to attempt to use the amp for rehearsals & gigs.
