Transciption Shortcut Question (Not Cheating)

When transcribing, I know you can use the % and %% as bar repeats. I am transcribing a song where the notes differ between bars but the rhythm stays the same (1 2+ +4+). Is there a way to notate that the rhythm stays the same without having to write it every time? I'm guessing no, but thought I'd ask anyway.

Not that I'm aware of and I've been reading since 1974.

The only thing that comes close is first notating a syncopated part and then writing it "straight" with the notation of simile. Saves you the trouble of notating the syncopation for long stretches.

But nothing I know of indicates a similar rhythm but different notes.
